Dear audience and people here to plagiarize my blog,

I have a question for you all, why is it that we have to prove everything in our life? Like I don't mind doing it I'm just questioning why. What is the point of justifying? It starts off with your parents and then that other special person in your life. Then its in school too. As if I haven't done enough. Im just kidding I just wanted a catchy ranty introduction.

Another thing I've recently had to prove is which book I want to read for our literature circle in my Indigenous voices class. If it came down to my top three, it's a clear choice.

1. Birdie

2. Indian Horse

3. The Break

Here's my sleep-deprived self proving myself, while also being convincing, charming and a little bit cocky. Listen. I want to demolish my goal to get a 98 in this class. I'd get 100% if I could. I was actually supposed to in another class of mine however apparently theres paperwork which you have to fill out and my teacher was too lazy. Not gonna lie, I already messed up. I needed all 4+'s for my oral summative and I ended up with all 4's. It's not the numbers I really care about though, It's really about just pushing myself to the limit and becoming the most aware and skilled person I can.

The numbers do reflect my ability to meet my goal however. So far, I haven't really been able to do so. My goal is to destroy the other summative. In order to do so, I feel that I should be given the right tools I desire as this is something which I have chosen in order to meet my goals. Let's take a specific look at why I feel these stories will help my achieve my goals and why I chose them in the first place.

The reason I feel that Birdie will help me achieve my goals and the reason it's my first choice is due to it being the story of one of a journey. I love any story which involves a journey. She learns things which is a good indication of a good story and one of character development. Furthermore it is a story about recovering and moving on from the past which is a great theme which I would love to explore. Furthermore, the book dives into a lot of mental health issues which is something I find to be very interesting. I look forward to reading this as it's very dark and different from the books I usually read.

The reason I feel that Indian Horse will help me achieve my goals and the reason it's my second choice is due to it being the story of one of a journey. I love any story which involves a journey. Furthermore it has a lot to do with culture and especially Indigenous culture of which I am not so knowledgeable and would love to learn about. Specifically, I am interested in reading about the residential school system.

The reason I feel that The Break will help me achieve my goals and the reason it's my third choice is due to it a mysterious story which I feel makes for a lot of twists. Furthermore, I feel like there are many different types of characters and unique people in this book who I'd love to read about and explore.

With that being said, I'm going to go nap now. These are my reasons for my choices however, I feel all of these books are worth being read. Please assign me any you see fit. See you in my next formative blog post audience!
